Sarah Prendergast

Sarah is an associate director at Capnua, Oaklins’ member firm in Ireland. She has experience in M&A and fundraising mandates in areas such as healthcare, insurance, technology, construction services and companies who service the data centre, micro-electronics, EV battery and life science sectors. She has advised on a number of notable transactions, including the sale of Openet, a 5G telecoms technology company to NASDAQ listed Amdocs plc; the sale of Linesight, a provider of construction consultancy services on projects in sectors including data centres, healthcare, commercial real estate and life sciences, to IPS, a subsidiary of Alleghany Capital Corp. (now a Berkshire Hathaway company); the sale of Galway Tool and Mould, a high precision tooling manufacturer servicing the life sciences and medical devices sectors, to SyBridge Technolgies a company established by New York based private equity firm Crestview Partners; the sale of Nualtra to Japanese food and biotechnology corporation Ajinomoto Cambrooke and the sale of Accuscience, a science and medical technology distribution company, to Diploma plc, a FTSE 100 company.

Sarah is a member of the Chartered Accountants of Ireland having trained in KPMG in Dublin. She previously earned a first-class master’s in finance from Dublin City University.
